While Artificial Intelligence (AI) is nothing new to the tech community, recently released tools have brought this technology to the masses. The past year alone has seen dozens of image generator programs made available to the public.

Technology is part of the history of photography, but these new images have photographers rightly concerned. Created by machines that have learned about objects from scanning millions of data points, these image generators can create entirely new images based on a series of text prompts. And some of the images produced are quite good.

So where does this technology fit in and around fine art photography? This seminar will explain the technology, show examples, and address photographer concerns. The session will be led by YourDailyPhotograph.com founder Daniel Miller. We have guest presenters who will cover various aspects of AI and unravel the mysteries. You’ll see an AI piece created on the spot, and learn how to do this, even if you don’t want to.

But our primary interest is the response we have been receiving from traditional photography collectors who buy fine art photographs. We’re busy collecting information from them.

You should expect a lively 90-minutes of information to help you understand what we know now, and how it might affect your future.

Seminar cost is $30 per person, and will be done via Zoom. Each paid participant will be invited to ask one or more questions in advance. We will filter these and answer what we can during the presentation.
